A Bare Metal Server (BMS) features both the scalability of virtual machines and high performance of physical machines. It provides dedicated servers on the cloud, delivering the performance and security required by core databases, critical applications, high-performance computing, and Big Data. BMS allows you to apply and use on demand.
Tenants share physical resources of ECC, but can exclusively use physical resources of BMS. BMS can better meet your needs for deploying key applications and services that require high performance (such as big data clusters and enterprise middleware systems) and a secure and reliable running environment.
For details about the function and performance differences between BMS, physical server, and ECC.
