Reconfigure the parameters of a RDS for SQL instance in the console

Precautions

1. You can view and set some parameters on the parameter setting page of the console.To ensure instance stability, the MySQL console allows you to reconfigure only some parameters. If you cannot find the parameter that you want to reconfigure, please contact the after-sales customer service.

2. After you reconfigure some parameters, your RDS for MySQL instance restarts when you click Apply Changes. For more information, check the Force Restart column on the Editable Parameters tab in the MySQL console. We recommend that you reconfigure these parameters during off-peak hours and make sure that your application is configured to automatically reconnect to your MySQL instance.

Reconfigure parameters

1. Visit the MySQL instance list, select a region above, and click the target instance ID.
   

2. On the Parameters tab, find the target parameterre, click Edit to reconfigure the parameter.
