Snapshot

Snapshot is an agentless data backup method that supports creating crash-consistent snapshots for system disks or data disks.

Creat snapshot

You can creat a snapshot both in the Instances page and Storage page.

  1. Click Instances and choose the instance that you need to create snapshot, then click ... in the Actions and select Creat Snapshot, as shown below:

  2. Click Storage and choose the instance that you need to create snapshot, then click ... in the Actions columnand select Creat Snapshot, as shown below:

  3. Click Snapshots and you can view the details of the snapshot that you have created.

Edit tag for snapshot

  1. Click Snapshots and then click Edit Tag, as shown below:

  2. In the “Edit snapshot tag” window that pops out, remark it in the New Tag textarea, then click Save to complete, as shown below:

Delete snapshot

  1. Click Snapshots and then click Delete, as shown below:

  2. In the “Delete Snapshot” window that pops out, confirm the information and click Delete to complete, as shown below:

Roll back disk

When the system is unresponsive or when accidental changes are made, you can roll back a disk to a previous version by using one of its snapshots.

  1. Click Snapshots and then click Roll Back Disk, as shown below:

  2. In the “Roll Back Disk” window that pops out, confirm the information you need to set and click Roll Back to complete, as shown below:
