Snapshot Policy

Automatic snapshot policy can creat snapshot periodically at the preset time so as to protect the cloud data, and it is an important guarantee of the system security and fault tolerance.

Create automatic snapshot policy

  1. On the Snapshot Policies page, click the + button on the upright corner to create an automatic snapshot policy, as shown below:

  2. In the “Create Policy” window that pops out, set the policy name, creating time, repeating day and the retention time as you need, then click Confirm to complete, as shown below:

Modify automatic snapshot policy

  1. After you creat automatic snapshot policies, you can modify the policy conditions: choose the policy you need to modify and click Modify in the Actions column, as shown below:

  2. In the “Edit Policy” window, adjust the conditons as you want, then click Confirm to complete, as shown below:

Set disk snapshot execution strategy

Execute snapshot policy
  1. Click Apply or Disable in the Actions column, as shown below:

  2. In the pop-out window, firstly, click Disk Without Policy; secondly, tick one or more disks as you need to execute in the left side of the pop-out window and click Execute Snapshot Policy; (or click Execute Snapshot Policy to excute the corresponding snapshot policy in the Actions column;) thirdly, click Close to complete, as shown below:

  3. After executing, you can check the disk you executed in the last step by clicking Disk With Policy in the Set Disk Snapshot Execution Strategy window, as shown below:

Delete snapshot policy

  1. Click Delete in the Actions column, as shown below:

  2. In the pop-out window, confirm the information and click Confirm to complete, as shown below:
