Instance

Create an instance

  1. You can create an instance on the Instances page: click the blue string create an instance or you can click the + button on the upright corner and it will turn to the purchasing page, as shown below:

  2. In the purchasing page, you can choose the Location, Server Size, Data Disk, Bandwidth, Operating System, Password Generation, Quantity and Duration as you need, then click Buy Now to turn to the order page, as you can see below:

  3. In the order page, please confirm the Order details and you can choose to pay by Balance or with PayPal, as shown below:

Rename

  1. On the Instances page, select the instance to be renamed, and click ... in the Actions column, then click Rename, as shown below:

  2. In the pop-out window, edit a new name in the textarea and click Rename to complete, as shown below:

Renew instance

Note: If you need to renew your instance, please keep your account balance sufficient.

Renew a single instance
  1. On the Instances page, select the instance to be renewed, and click Renew in the Actions column, as shown below:

  2. In the “Renew” window that pops up, confirm the selected instance and duration as you need and enter the login password, then click Pay to complete, as shown below:

Renew multiple instances
  1. On the Instances page, select the instances needed to be renewed, and click Renew on the leftdown of the page, as shown below:

  2. In the “Renew” window that pops up, select the renewal duration, click Pay, and complete the renewal payment.

View instance information

  1. On the Instances page, select the instance to be viewed and click View in the Actions column, as shown below:

  2. You can view the Basic Information, Monitoring and Operation Records of the instance:

    2.1 View Basic Information of the Instance
    Click Basic Information and you can view the bare metal server information and hard disk information of the instance, as shown below:

    2.2 View Monitoring of the Instance
    Click Monitoring and you can monitor the bandwidth usage conditon of the instance, as shown below:

    2.3 View Operation Records of the Instance
    Click Operation Records and you can view who, when and where the instance has been operated, as shown below:

Start/Restart/Stop instance

Start a single instance
  1. On the Instances page, select the instance to be started, and click Start in the Actions column, as shown below:

  2. In the “Start” window that pops up, confirm the selected instance and read the note, then click Start to complete, as shown below:

Start multiple instances
  1. On the Instances page, select the instances needed to be started, and click Start on the leftdown of the page, as shown below:

Restart a single instance
  1. On the Instances page, select the instance to be restarted, and click Restart in the Actions column, as shown below:

  2. In the “Restart” window that pops up, confirm the selected instance and read the note, then click Restart to complete, as shown below:

Restart multiple instances
  1. On the Instances page, select the instances needed to be restarted, and click Restart on the leftdown of the page, as shown below:

  2. In the “Restart” window that pops up, confirm the selected instance and read the note, then click Restart to complete, as shown below:

Stop a single instance
  1. On the Instances page, select the correspodent instance, and click Stop in the Actions column, as shown below:

  2. In the “Stop” window that pops up, confirm the selected instance and read the note, then click Stop to complete, as shown below:

Stop multiple instances
  1. On the Instances page, select the correspodent instance, and click Stop on the leftdown of the page, as shown below:

  2. In the pop-up window, confirm the selected instance and read the note, then click Stop to complete, as shown below:

Upgrade

Note: If you need to upgrade your instance, please keep your account balance sufficient.

Upgrade bandwith
  1. On the Instances page, select the instance to be upgraded, and click ... in the Actions column. Click Upgrade and then choose Upgrade Bandwith, as shown below:

  2. In the pop-out window, adjust the Permanent Bandwidth as you need and read the note. Then enter the loging password and click Pay to complete, as shown below:

Buy temporary bandwidth
  1. On the Instances page, select the instance to be upgraded, and click ... in the Actions column. Click Upgrade and then choose Temporary Bandwidth, as shown below:

  2. In the pop-out window, adjust the Bandwidth Increment and Duration as you need and read the note. Then enter the loging password and click Pay to complete, as shown below:

Reinstall

OS reinstallation can restore instances to their initial statuses, which is a common way to recover the instance in the event of a system failure.

  1. On the Instances page, click ... in the Action column and then click Reinstall, as shown below:

  2. In the pop-out window, select a public mirror, set the password according to the requirement below and read the notes, then click Reinstall to complete, as shown below:

Add reserved IP

Note: If you need to add reserved IP, please keep your account balance sufficient.

  1. On the Instances page, click ... in the Action column and then click Add Reserved IP, as shown below:

  2. In the “Add Reserved IP” window that pops out, confirm the quantity as you need, enter the login password, then click Pay to complete, as shown below:

Add data disk

Note: If you need to add reserved IP, please keep your account balance sufficient.

  1. On the Instances page, click ... in the Action column and then click Add Data Disk, as shown below:

  2. In the pop-out window, confirm and adjust the Quantity and Hard Disk Type as you need, enter the login password, then click Pay to complete, as shown below:

Add an instance to intranet

Create intranet
  1. One account can own up to 1 intranet. If you do not have an intranet, please click the + button on the upright corner on the Intranet page to create one, as shown below

  2. Choose a zone and name the intranet as you need for the new intranet. Then click Confirm to complete, as shown below:

Add to intranet
  1. If you have already had intraneta, you can add instances to the intranet as you need on the Instances page: click ... in the Action column and then click Add to Intranet, as shown below:

  2. In the pop-out window, confirm the information and select an intranet and read the note, then click Add to complete, as shown below:
