Security Group

Create security group

  1. On the Security Group page, click the + button on the upright corner as you can see below:

  2. In the pop-out window, name the security group and you can also tag it or add description to it in the corresponding textarea as you need, then click Confirm to complete, as shown below:

Configure security group

Configure inbound rules
  1. Click Configure and you can add rules for the security group, as shown below:

  2. Click Add Rule on the Inbound Rules page, as shown below:

  3. In the pop-out window, click +Add to add rules for your security group, and you can adjust each rule in as you need, then click Confirm to complete, as shown below:

  4. Now you have added inbound rules, then you can modify it or delete it as you want. Click the Modify button if you need, as shown below:

  5. In the “Modify Rule” window that pops out, set the rules you need, then click “Confirm“ to finish modifying, as shown below:

  1. Click Configureon the Security Group page and you can add instances to the security group, as shown below:

  2. Click Add Instances on the Related instances page, as shown below:

  3. After step 2 above, it will turn to the Instances page, and you can choose a single or multiple items to add to security group as you need. Then click Add to Security Group, as shown below:

  4. In the pop-out window, select the security group and confirm the selected instance as you need, then read the note and click Add to complete, as shown below:

Edit security group

  1. Click Edit on the Security Group, as shown below:

  2. In the “Edit Security Group” window that pops out, change the name, tags and description of the security group as you need. Then click Confirm to finish, as shown below:

Delete security group

  1. Click Delete on the Security Group, as shown below:

  2. In the pop-out window, confirm the seleted instance needed to delete and click Delete to finish, as shown below:
