照片编辑应用VSCO关闭纽约分部，部分员工被遣

Instagram 的主要竞争对手、照片编辑应用公司 VSCO 近日关闭了其位于纽约分部，并遣散了员工。据悉，这一决定是为了将员工集中在奥克兰公司总部，以更好的应对市场竞争。除了纽约分部以外，VSCO 还在丹佛设有办事处，也正是在并购丹佛了的设计工作室 Artifact Uprising 后，原 VSCO 工作室正式更名为 VSCO 有限责任公司。

　　VSCO 官方网站上罗列了部分职位空缺，丹佛和奥克兰两处办公室均有涉及。纽约遣散的员工表示，他们被告知其中将有部分被迁往这两处，具体人数目前尚不清楚。VSCO 官方对此次遣散事件人数方面等细节也未透露具体细节，如纽约分部关闭时在职员工人数，以及此次遣散员工占公司总人数比重。不过据相关媒体透露，VSCO 在职员工超过 100 人，其中 80 多人就职于奥克兰总部。

　　VSCO 纽约分部于去年开设，旨在为纽约员工提供办事处以及开放式摄影工作室。实际上开设纽约分部的规划早在 2014 年提出。当时 VSCO 刚在A轮融资中获 4000 万美元投资，希望借助设立纽约分部来扩大公司规模，实现员工人数的成倍增长。

　　公司负责人向媒体证实关闭纽约分部的事实，而他们原计划扩展纽约分部的工作室，随着此次变动，扩展计划将转而在奥克兰总部实行。
